IECLO Director Prof. Dr. Anna Oriolo has been awarded by the European Commission
We are very thrilled by the news that the European Commission awarded IECLO Director Prof. Dr. Anna Oriolo’s Jean Monnet Module project EU-GLOBACT (TRANSNATIONAL CRIME AND EU LAW: towards Global Action against Cross-border Threats to common security, rule of law, and human rights).
We expect 3 years of teaching, research and dissemination activities open to Italian and foreign students, professionals and civil society to explore EU’s global actorness, i.e., the EU’s priority to export European interests and values to the global stage through its active role and stronger voice in fighting terrorism and cross-border/online crimes.
Many thanks to the IECLO Staff, colleagues of UNISA and foreign institutions, the scholars, professionals, and experts (also outside academia) who supported EU-GLOBACT Project and will partecipate in the three-year activities.
