RTW
We combine education and research by Research Training Workshops (RTW).
IECLO organizes high-level scientific meetings, conferences, workshops and seminars for students in legal matters who are new to research or for scholars wish to refresh their skills.
By research training workshops students and other participants can gain important skills for understanding the main approaches to legal research (i.e., analytical, interdisciplinary, sociological, comparative, historical) and how different types of theoretical and methodological frameworks can be applied.
IECLO RTW critically explore selected legal questions,
- acquiring and analyzes relevant information (such as facts and legislation),
- explaining/interpreting legal issues and concepts
- and applying findings to solve legal problems.
The RTW also provides an opportunity for students and staff to develop or improve research and writing skills and produce scholarly articles, present theses and dissertations or deliver professional speeches or reports.
Ph.D. BRAINSTORMING
In April 2025 IECLO also launched as part of the training activities of the Jean Monnet EU-GLOBACT Course, launches the Ph.D. Brainstorming Project.
Periodically, a training event is organized for discussion and creative debate on the respective areas of research that the PhDs and PhD Candidates of the Department of Legal Sciences of the University of Salerno are invited to illustrate under the guidance of an animator.
The aim is to encourage the exchange of knowledge and improve the experience of the PhD path, promoting the personal and professional growth of the participants.
